Tuff Stuff 1625NE High Performance Water Pump for Ford Trucks & SUVs - Perfect for Engine Cooling & Off-Road Adventures

I have purchased two of these over the past few years. Don't expect these to have a flawless finish. In the areas where it is hard for a buffer wheel to reach there are some pretty noticeable blemishes. The pump itself is fine. The pulley bolt spacing is 2 1/8 inch.Gaskets are supplied but I won't be using them on future installs. I had trouble with them pushing out of position when I torqued down the pump. I switched to Permatex "The right stuff gasket maker" and had excellent results. So my recommendation is skip the gaskets entirely and use the Permatex. Torque to 20 ft lbs and do a dry pressure test before installing fluids.Hint, have a couple of tapered punches close at hand to help guide the pump right into position. It is much better than hunting around for the bolt hole while leaned over the car.
